New Class-ART 247 F Sketching for Animators and Illustrators-Traditional Media Techniques
Super excited for my new class “ART 247 F Sketching for Animators and Illustrators-Traditional Media Techniques” in the fall. This is NOT the same as my Saturday class ART 157 F Sketching for Animators and Illustrators. The new one is mostly wet media illustration techniques. This will improve your digital work as I'll cover things like brushwork, design, atmospherics etc. I'm also working with Dick Blick materials to keep the materials cost very low. or two describing this item.

Welcome to My Site...
My name is Mike Sheehan. This site is new and still under construction, but have a look around. I will be posting all my educational info here along with sketchbooks, design and illustration work.
I'll link art tutorials and events.
You can read a brief bio below. The website name comes from my obsession with drawing and painting my experiences and how I feel that this can be valuable to students whether you're a painter, digital artist or illustrator.
It's all about fundamentals, no matter what kind of work you want to do.
These are my everyday sketchbooks. Mostly observational and some out of my head...
